It has been a considerable amount of time since my last post. A tremendous amount of things have happened in my life just in the past year, that I feel will be too long a job to write it out here on this blog. Not only that, but I feel this blog was dedicated to a chapter in my life that has already been closed.
I think it is time to either close it for good or keep it within my grasp for something else. Not 100% sure at the moment, but I do know that I will no longer be posting on this website. Thank you to all those who have visited, linked, commented, and followed this blog up until this point.
For those I’m a currently hosting…no worries, I will not be giving up the urbanroxy.com name!
I will definitely be opening another blog, more suited to where my life is going at the moment. I’ll be sure to update this post with the new link once everything is up and running, so stayed tuned for that.
Once again, thank you!
As I was surfing the net, commenting on blogs, and looking at a number of CSS galleries for inspiration, the random thought occurred to me: Who instant messages anymore?
I’m pretty sure the number is still high up there, but I feel the fad of instant messaging is dying out as the wave of blogging, Twittering, and sites like Skype are all the rage now.
Maybe it’s just me (and please tell me if it is), but AIM and MSN just aren’t the same as they were before. I remember when I used to have about 5 different screen names for AIM. I had over 200+ contacts that I didn’t really know, nor needed to ever talk to, but had them nevertheless. My MSN account wasn’t too far behind either, but at least with this account I could actually set my setting to “offline” and still be able to talk with people.
Now-a-days, I rarely use AIM or MSN! When I do, it’s because a friend of mine asks me to or I’m just hella bored and wanna see if anyone who I used to talk to on a daily basis is on, which they rarely are.
Also if my current job uses it, well I have to jump on that band wagon!
So tell me, do you still instant message? If so, who are you talking to (ie: online friends, family…etc.) why do you like it, and which client are you using?
I’m posting with my newly downloaded WP 2.7 and I freaking love it! The dashboard is so clean and organized and the sleak look of the “add new post” page makes me want to add 10 more posts after this, haha!
If you haven’t already, I HIGHLY suggest you download the new version, you won’t be disappointed.
I know with my last post, I was debating whether to scrap WP or not and well with this new download, I think I’ll keep going with WP for quite a bit longer. XD
Well, I’m off to see what else this new release has, I’ll edit this post with more details!
