Uh oh, looks like DreamHost made huge no-no with their clients money. I’m not sure if the problem started today or yesterday, but it seems that DH had a little glitch in their billing system that sent out charges of up to $4,000.00 dollars to customers all over the world! Not only that, but they sent out a “childish” newsletter in regards to this. Can we say unprofessional? This is why I am happily hosted with SurpassHosting. Although they have their ups and downs, if something like this were to go down (God forbid) I know that they (we) would handle the situation quickly and efficiently. Also sending out a formal and professional letter to every single person. They (we) are a business after all and should act accordingly.

I do feel bad for those who had payments that were coming in. Hopefully they are not charged for them, or this could become something REALLY big. Just in case you are a DH client and don’t know what is going on, I suggest you check both your bank/credit card account and also the server blog over at DH.

Good luck!

Hello all, I’m currently in Tallahassee for Christmas, I wish I could be here for New Years too, but I have work…haha.

I was supposed to leave this news for when we opened the site, but I’m too excited to wait! I got a reseller account from my host/job! Me and a friend will be opening a hosting site soon, and I cannot wait! We’ve been talking about for like a month now, of course I’ve been thinking about for like a year now though, and FINALLY we are able to do it! When the site opens, I’ll be sure to plug the link, so ya’ll can tell me what you think. =)

*yawn* I’m sort of tired…since I drove here by myself…4 hours non-stop, or well stopped for gas but that was like a two second thing, so it doesn’t count. Hahaha. My aunt is cooking something for us to eat, so I will write more later on.

Happy Holidays everyone, may Santa bring you lots of cheer and may God bless you all during the rest of this month. =)

This is a just-in-case post for people who might have a problem logging into their WordPress accounts.

If you have downloaded the plug-in Bad Behavior, you need to update it ASAP! They made a mistake while switching servers and now a lot of WP blogs are not able to log in due to a blacklist IP problem.

The link: http://www.bad-behavior.ioerror.us/2…behavior-2011/ will take you to the fixed version.

“All users should update to Bad Behavior 2.0.11 immediately to prevent being blocked from your own site.

Within the past two days users have found themselves blocked from their own sites while using recent versions of Bad Behavior. A third party blacklist which Bad Behavior queries recently began sending false positives for any IP address queried, causing everyone using Bad Behavior to be blocked. This issue is fixed in Bad Behavior 2.0.11.

Download Bad Behavior 2.0.11 now!

P.S. Yes, Bad Behavior is still in development. More news coming soon.

Update: Some people have asked for more details on what exactly happened. In brief, yesterday I moved all of my sites to a new dedicated server. In the process, I decommissioned an old blacklist I was running which I thought wasn’t being used, not realizing that Bad Behavior was still set to use it. Shortly afterward, I found myself locked out of my own blog, just as you all did. So therefore, this release.”
