Twilight The Movie

So yesterday night my boyfriend took me to see Twilight! How sweet of him no?

Anyways, I have to admit, I was extremely disappointed. I know that usually the movie and the book are never the same and only show so many scenes that were ACTUALLY in the book, but my God, did this movie add so many new things! The acting was horrible and most of the scenes contained less dialogue and more staring contests.

I’m sorry to all of you “Robert Pattinson Fans”, but he played a horrible Edward C. and most of the time, my boyfriend and I were laughing at him, as he looked like a crazy psycho!

The actress who played Bella (forgot her name) actually did a good job. I wasn’t overly impressed, but I wasn’t as disappointed like I was with “edward’s” actor.

The rest of the cast did an amazing job. They actually fit in character! It sucks that the two most important people just didn’t hit the mark. =( Oh, also Jacob?! (WTF) I was VERY angry about his character…his “father” played a better role! =/

Overall, I would recommend not watching the movie in theaters. Save your money and wait until it comes out on TV. Also read the book, it’s much better.

Hum.. it’s probably a good thing I haven’t read the book yet. I think I should see the movie first, haha! I’m not in any hurry though. I remember when ‘Blood and Chocolate’ came out and I was like.. oohh that should be cool but the movie was so different from the book and the acting was horrible… After watching it I was like 0_0

My friends who have seen it told me basically the exact same things you just said here. My friend said she kept laughing at Robert Pattinson even though the scene wasn’t supposed to be funny. lol. And Bella was okay but not at all amazing.

Some people also said that the filmmakers didn’t seem to have anticipated that Twilight was going to be as big as it is now so they didn’t make the movie more spectacular. I wouldn’t know… I haven’t read the book and I don’t think I’ll watch the movie.

I could tell just from the previews that it was going to be wayyy off the wall. I refuse to go see it now. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!

I went to see Twighlight with my friend not even knowing anything about the movie. I really liked it! Especially after my friend (who read all the books) told me the background information on all of the characters.

Yes, I laughed my azz off when Edward was staring at Bella throughout their first day of class. He looked CRAZY!! And Bella’s acting method was HORRIBLE (she looked like she had a rusty spike up her behind most of the time), but I liked it…it was sweet and now, I want to be a vampire too!
