Happy Halloween!
As the title says, Happy Halloween everyone! I’m very excited for today as I can’t wait to give out candy to all the little ghouls and goblins running around during the day and then I have a costume party to go to during the night! So I will be very busy. =)
Just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe “Trick-or-Treating” tonight and also for those going out to party, to be careful not to drink or drive!
I’ll be sure to post pictures up of all the different costumes I see at the party and on the street. Already this morning while on my way to work, I saw a woman dressed in a devil costume and she looked mean too. I saw a biker chick, a greek goddess, one of those October Fest bar ladies…(looks like a trend with the ladies). It was funny!
Well that’s all, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! =D

I try to consider what I want to convey to readers, and also what I have to offer. My website doesn’t have a lot of content, so I needed a way to display my small amount of information while making it look like, well, there wasn’t a small amount of information. I typically try to pick something that I really want to incorporate with a design, whether it be a background pattern, a color, or a photo, then try to find elements that compliment it very nicely. Then, I sit down with a pen and a sheet of paper a start drawing small boxes, trying to incorporate all the elements I want in a variety of ways until I strike upon one that seems like it will really work. Then I get a new piece of paper and draw the whole thing out, but with more detail until I have a nice conceptual image of what I want. Then I mock it up in Adobe Photoshop and see if it’ll actually work. Sometimes it’s back to the drawing board, but it’s what works for me.
